Veza um-misic znaci fokusiranje sve vase paznje na specifican misic koji zelite izgraditi, u bilo kojoj vjezbi koju radite, a sve u cilju da maksimizirate rast tog misica.
Na primjer, Milos je u svom Fit-show videu o treningu grudi demonstrirao kako raditi bench press i pri tom paznju usresrediti na pectoralse u toku vjezbe - radje nego li da se ona prebaci na tricepse, deltoide ili druge misicne grupe koje ucestvuju u pokretanju dvorucnog tega.
U sustini kada radite ovu vjezbu i zelite da fokus bude na pectoralsima, ovaj pokret postaje slican razvlacenju bucicama - izuzev fiksnog polozaja vasih saka na sipci.
Fokus na odredjeni misic omogucava da minimalno ukljucite druge misicne partije u toku vjezbe. Tako kod bench-presa mozete se fokusirati na pectoralse, tricepse ili deltoide vodeci racuna o pokretu (koji determinise tehniku) koji je potreban da bi se ovo postiglo.
Time sto ce te biti potpuno svjestni koji misic zelite aktivirati tokom odredjenog pokreta (da budete u mogucnosti da osjetite da se misic kontrahuje, pomjera, isteze dok se fokusirate na njega tokom vjezbe) mozete prilagoditi tehniku i pogodili misic sa odgovarajucom kontrakcijom, pokretom i istezanjem misica kako bi postigli njegov rast. To je veza um-misic.
Filozofski posmatrano, veza um-misic je svijest o tome sto zelite postici u bodybuildingu (izgraditi odredjeni misic) i na taj nacin koristiti specificnu tehniku kako bi postigli cilj - a pri tom odbaciti beskorisne pokrete i tehnike koje ne idu ka ostvarenju vasih specificnih ciljeva. Stoga prilikom bench-pressa drzite svoja ledja pravo, ne u luku, jer je cilj izgraditi pectoraise a ne koristiti druge misice kako bi podigli teret. Fokus je na izgradnji misica, a ne na podizanju tereta.
Jednostavno receno: Veza um-misic je tehnika gdje bilo koju vjezbu pretvarate u izolacioni pokret kako bi ste pogodili misic koji zelite da raste.
